Hi Everyone,
I am intending to fire off the torch any time now. I have has so many priorities that I just haven't been able to get to it. Did I tell y'all that I live in a Motor Home and My hubby built my studio right into it? It is really neat, and I have every thing I need. However I probably have about 500 hundred pounds of glass stored in the compartments under the motor home. I just pick out what colors I want and then hookup the propane tank out side and then come in side and turn on the my oxygen generator and hook up my exhaust fan clean my glass start the kiln and then light off the torch. It's not a bad set up but dose get a bit cramped at times. However it works for me. When my hubby retired we decided we wanted to travel ,but I wasn't willing to give up my bead making so he had to figure out a way to set up a studio for me and whee...he did it. So now I get to torch my little heart out. Oh, By the Way! My hubby dose the Fused Glass work which you can view on my web site. Just go to http://www.gaglassbeads.com . Friday Night Show On The Avenue - march,9,08
March 7th show
Here is another day and I just completed another show on march the 7th at the Avenue. It was a fun night as we fought the high winds by tying down our tables, table covers, tents. I was late getting set up from all the confusion about whether people were going to show up that had permanent spots. Finally I was assigned a spot for my tent and got it set up and then...to my surprise I was asked to move to another spot because the permanent vendor finally showed up. What a mess. By that time I was so stressed out , but vowed to carry on with the night. Wheee...I did get a few sales finally after two hours of the night was over. The entire show was only 4hr's and I was over an hour late getting set up, so I think I had maybe 3hrs to sell my goods.
